A Missional Church is defined as a biblically faithful, culturally appropriate, reproducing community of Christ-followers who abandon themselves and are sent by God into the harvest to fulfill His mission among all people. The following attributes help define or describe a missional church:

They are passionate about the Mission of God and see North America as a mission field
They are contextually appropriate
They are Biblically faithful
They seek intimacy with the Father through spiritual disciplines like worship, prayer and fasting
They enlist, equip and send believers to live “incarnationally” in the harvest
They value cooperation and collaboration with others to advance the Kingdom of God
They value life and community transformation
They are relationally connected to the unchurched and proclaim the gospel in word and deed
They value church planting as a means of fulfilling the Great Commission
